  • zfs

    OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD

  • After some more abusive testing I seem to be able to get zvols (and even the pool) to almost completely lock up for extended periods waiting for recovery (regardless of ext4 or xfs formatting). While I don't claim to understand the issue it does seem to follow a lot of what of what is described in the Github issue posted by u/kyle0r. I imagine I could "tune" things better, but it's probably time to step back and re-think things a bit. I can definitely use a dataset for our Docker bind mounted data, which is the most important data by far. But I may have to re-consider trying to cover the overlay2 Docker data in /var/lib. The time may be better spend fixing our deployment issues that made that attractive to cover in the first place. Just talking to myself at this point. :)

  • democratic-csi

csi storage for container orchestration systems

  • For persistent storage have you looked into using TrueNAS with a CSI provider with your container orchestrator? I'm assuming your orchestrator is Nomad or Kubernetes.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
