The Streamelements OBS live plugin is known to have problems, and even more so since the update. It was straight up not working for a period of time. I lurked in their support discord for a while. I would recommend removing the plugin entirely and just using the SE resources as browser sources in vanilla OBS. You can do this by uninstalling the SE plugin, uninstalling OBS (don't check the box to delete settings and sources!) And then downloading and installing a fresh copy of OBS directly from here: https://obsproject.com/
The only other bit of advice I have for a temporary work around is to look into using your phone as a cam for the time being. If you're using OBS studio and not streamlabs, there are some plug-ins that should allow you to use an iphone through USB, but I think probably the easiest option of all would be to go to https://vdo.ninja/ and click the "add camera to OBS" button. Phone cameras on modern devices basically destroy webcams in terms of quality.
