    Rendering 3d scenes from openstreetmap data...

    • I'm also currently working on a 3d map with OSM data at work. I would HIGHLY recommend you to use Godot for this. It is far(!) easier to develop and there is even an example project with shapefiles https://github.com/RodZill4/godot-openstreetmap. Also read about f32 floating point predictions that occur with coordinates that are about 5km away from the origin.
