Thanks, those are all great points I hadn't thought of! So unlike Resilio or Dropbox, does Syncthing not have a "selective sync" option? I found a github link (https://github.com/syncthing/syncthing/issues/2491) and some people referencing an "ignore" feature but that seems slightly tedious to maintain. Ie: like you said - effectively all or nothing. That would potentially be somewhat limiting, like you said I could run into storage issues - or simply limit what I sync, literally just using it as a share folder. I like that a syncing solution would keep a copy locally though, I was hoping to use it as a backup solution but unless I go to something that has easily implemented selective sync or significantly increase every computer's storage capacity, I don't think thats feasible.
