  • You should look up what are the most required languages and technologies in Philly. Learning too many languages won’t attract recruiters because they think that you know just the surface of lots of languages but you have no deep knowledge of one particular language. Stick to one language and do a deep learning even for the things that you feel like you understand. You can look up this site it has very structured roadmaps about programming, there are a lot of info there so don’t get scared just go through them step by step. After you start feeling confident that you can do your own projects start doing that, you can find thousands of project ideas online or you can bring to life your own ideas. Put them on github and keep building more complex projects. Then when you feel ready to apply for jobs, go crazy and apply to as many jobs as you can.
