I have written a program to automatically download all the images and am currently at 39GB/178GB downloaded, I have a few hours left. It's thread-safe (defaults to 4 concurrent downloads at once), can resume later and checks for errors. I'm in the process of writing the OCR to categorize and tag all the images.

Maybe you could do something like this and search on an index. You could generate the DB and host it as static files. https://github.com/jlongster/absurd-sql
