Change Brightness of official Rasperry PI LCD 7" if system are in idle after a period of time

  • I have created a small script, which maybe you will find useful (or maybe not) that automatically lowers the brightness of the screen when the system is in idle and restores it when the mouse is moved or a key on the keyboard is pressed (just like a screen saver but without turning off the screen). I find it very useful for those applications where the screen should never go off. Unfortunately in the vido the screen is seen much brighter than it actually is. The script is completely configurable by setting, passing the appropriate parameters, the timeout time, the minimum brightness level that must be reached when the system is idle and the maximum brightness level when it is reactivated. The script, for those who want it, is on my GitHub [GhostMaster75]
