It sounds like you want to know if there's a way you can use a second keyboard as a bunch of macro keys. Yes you can do this, in fact Tom Scott talks about exactly this in this video and the guys at Linus Tech Tips talked about in this video. In both cases they are using software called AutoHotkey. It's been a while since I watched either video but from what I remember AutoHotkey has some secret sauce that is able to differentiate between different keyboards and that's what allows this.
