Also you haven't asked for this but I figured hyou might find the following info useful if I'm judging your situation correctly so, I recommend using a plugin manager like zinit instead of using omz, prezto etc as they are as using a plugin manager makes things way easier going forward. Just start with a clean .zshrc file and after installing zinit install the plugins using it in your .zshrc file (often like GitHub username/reponame after the zinit light command and it uses git to clone it into .zinit/plugins, then compiles whatever it can to make the plugin loading faster + is able to lazy load certain plugins so that you get an instant prompt while the rest of the stuff get loaded in the bg in a multi threaded manner - you don't get any of these if you just use omz/source plugins with the default .zsh commands without a plugin manager like zinit).
