First day on Ubuntu and I'm not able to drag any YT links/local files to MPV. Please help.

if it's version 0.34 there is no need for the line but regardless of version you need yt-dlp, download it from their github repo, it's the one without any extension, run chmod +x yt-dlp on it and put it somewhere in your path, if you don't know how to do that just search "how to add folder to path in bash" and you find the answer

as for local files if you can't drag videos to mpv for some reason you can add file association to it and double click on the files to open them in mpv, running from the terminal is also another option, also consider the autoload script to make life easier
