  • I use them for different things, actually. I use isearch to move to a particular spot, and I use swiper to get a quick overview of all the matches. I often C-g out of swiper. (And I don't actually use swiper, but consult-line from Consult these days). I use isearch much more often than swiper, but still like it better for that "overview" use case.
