  • vim-darkness

    Discontinued Dark, monochromatic Vim colorscheme

  • Darkness

  • photon.vim

Discontinued A pair of Vim colour schemes with minimal syntax highlighting.

  • I use my own custom theme Photon which is based on Paramount.

  • Apprentice

    A dark, low-contrast, Vim colorscheme.

  • I did quite a bit of colorscheme-jumping when I started until I found one that ticked almost every checkbox for me: sorcerer. I then spent a couple years with it, tweaking things here and there, until I finally decided to tick the remaining checkboxes myself and release my own version, Apprentice.

  • base16-vim

    Base16 for Vim (by chriskempson)

  • I like Apprentice and base16-gruvbox-dark-hard but I have a lot of trouble sticking to one colorscheme and end up switching fairly often.

  • rigel

🌌 Colorscheme for vim, terminal, vscode and slack - based on the star Rigel ✨.

  • I prefer rigel.

  • dotfiles

Used to synchronize configuration files between my machines. (by Joedang)

  • I wrote my own theme that I call Plasticflower. TBH, I think most people would find it gaudy and I intend to write a new theme at some point. However, I found it a good exercise, understanding how to themes are written, and I recommend it. (Imgur is being a butt and won't let me upload screenshots.)

  • vim-distinguished

A dark vim color scheme for 256-color terminals.

  • I use a custom fork of vim-distinguished. It looks like this: https://i.imgur.com/s9kFEmy.png
