  Marlin is an optimized firmware for RepRap 3D printers based on the Arduino platform. Many commercial 3D printers come with Marlin installed. Check with your vendor if you need source code for your specific machine.

  

Head over to MarlinFirmware on Github and download the source code. Then download VSCode and install the plugins called PlatformIO and Autobuild Marlin. Now you‘ll want to go through the files configuration.h and configuration_adv.h and change everything to suit your printer setup.
