SurveyJS
Open-Source JSON Form Builder to Create Dynamic Forms Right in Your App. With SurveyJS form UI libraries, you can build and style forms in a fully-integrated drag & drop form builder, render them in your JS app, and store form submission data in any backend, inc. PHP, ASP.NET Core, and Node.js.
I suppose it depends on what qualifies as a frontend. I typically end up working in something like Budibase or Retool. The problem is time working in these tools is proportional to the level of inflexibility I always run up against.
Since you mentioned python, I'd suggest something simple like fastAPI as a backend framework, it lets you serve up template pages and I'm using htmx to interact with the backend, writing almost not a single line of JS. I've played with several css frameworks over my time and there you can get some really barebones, basic stuff like skeleton just to make it not look like it was displaying a page styled in 2001. I'm partial to google's material design and materlize makes it pretty easy to get going with decent styling with minimal effort. Also noticed you post in r/selfhosted I spend some time there as well building out my home lab/network/hosting. dm if you have any questions to get started or hit me up on discord.
