  • alacritty

    A cross-platform, OpenGL terminal emulator.

  • Alacritty supports ligatures? The GH issue is still open https://github.com/alacritty/alacritty/issues/50

  • zterm

    Minimalistic libvte based terminal.

  • So for me, it's because I wrote my own to suit my admittedly very niche needs.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.

  • termite

Discontinued Termite is obsoleted by Alacritty. Termite was a keyboard-centric VTE-based terminal, aimed at use within a window manager with tiling and/or tabbing support.

  • I simply do not want to use anything libvte based. And that's what sakura is and termite used to be.

  • typometer

Text editor typing latency analyzer (by frarees)

  • There's actually a tool for measuring latency, called typometer.

  • sway

Sway and Waybar dotfiles (by Dorian-DS)

  • I have a foot.ini here : https://github.com/Dorian-DS/sway/tree/main/foot

  • st

build of the suckless simple terminal with patches for alpha, font2, copyurl, openclipboard, invert, appsync, xresources, scrollback, w3m, keyboard select, boxdraw (by mrdotx)

  • I don’t use Wayland, but st instead. It’s fast enough, and the source code is short. No tabs (I use tmux), no configuration, no distraction. It does exactly what I need, and nothing more.

  • jexer

Java Text User Interface. This library implements a text-based windowing system loosely reminiscent of Borland's Turbo Vision system

  • foot is great, dnkl is great. It's so far the fastest sixel-supporting terminal I've got to test XtermDOOM on. (I run iTerm2-based images against wezterm.)

  • SaaSHub

SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews. SaaSHub helps you find the best software and product alternatives
