  Discontinued Termite is obsoleted by Alacritty. Termite was a keyboard-centric VTE-based terminal, aimed at use within a window manager with tiling and/or tabbing support.

I simply do not want to use anything libvte based. And that's what sakura is and termite used to be.

I don’t use Wayland, but st instead. It’s fast enough, and the source code is short. No tabs (I use tmux), no configuration, no distraction. It does exactly what I need, and nothing more.
