But as far as kernels go, if you want to keep it simple, and are using Arch, I would just use linux-zen (and make sure to install linux-zen-headers, you always need the kernel headers for your kernel installed, otherwise dkms won't work, and you need dkms). Speaking of dkms, make sure to use the dkms version of the nvidia drivers. Your best bet is really to just use TKG's nvidia-all repo, clone it here and inside the repo directory run makepkg -si. Make sure to use dkms with it (set it in the customization.cfg file).
