I actually ran an Astonia V2 server years ago. The client does use ddraw and that is the main part of the client that requires windows. The rest of it would be very easy to rewrite for linux. A replacement ddraw API has been written using opengl. You could use the code from one of the ddraw replacements to make that part work. You may be able to directly use the library but I doubt it. Here is an example: https://github.com/dxgldotorg/dxgl. I would assume the V3 client is very similar to the V2 client. If you're not good at programming, maybe you can find someone else who is. Or you can take a crack at it yourself. After all, that's exactly how I learned how to program.
