    • The upside to flashing your own firmware is that you can still use VIA if you want. To do this, I copied this directory https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/tree/master/keyboards/ploopyco/trackball/keymaps/via to a new one to make my changes (in my case, to adjust the drag scroll speed). You could adjust the value of PLOOPY_DPI_OPTIONS in the config.h file, compile your custom keymap, then you'd be set.

    • Also, I would highly recommend using https://github.com/qmk/qmk_toolbox to flash it. If you toggle on the little "Auto-Flash" checkbox and then follow the steps in the Ploopy Build Guide it takes a lot of guess work out of it.
