One example of a traditional SSH based app is git with ssh:// clones. The problem is that you have to have the account system tied to the machine. We've been trying to make such things easier to build with Wish so you can handle auth at the application level. This allows us to do things like allow anonymous Git clones. It's also convenient because most people have ssh installed on their system, so it's a good way to provide functionality without having to install a new tool.

Hi! We (Charm) have another SSH app that could be a good example: Soft Serve. It gives you a self-hosted Git server with a SSH based TUI. Both these apps use our SSH framework Wish that provides an easy way to build SSH TUIs and Git/SSH based APIs.
