Unfortunately, I've hit a bit of a snag trying to compile a firmware for the Q1 w/ knob (rev 0101). First thing is Keychron's pull request to add q1/rev_0101 has not yet been merged into QMK. However, you can head over to Keychron's repository so see their latest code for the rev_0101 board.
