  • laps-web

A web site for managing access to local admin passwords managed by Microsoft LAPS

  • Also, a couple of people have mentioned LAPS web: https://github.com/lithnet/laps-web This is a friendly interface for dealing with LAPS. I personally have not used it, but folks in this thread are reporting good results. This sort of thing may reduce the level of resistance.

  • access-manager

Access Manager provides web-based access to local admin (LAPS) passwords, BitLocker recovery keys, and just-in-time administrative access to Windows computers in a modern, secure, and user-friendly way.

  • Thanks for the shout-out! We’ve updated laps web with a new version called Lithnet Access Manager (https://github.com/lithnet/access-manager). It includes everything we had in LAPS web but adds support for Bitlocker and just in time admin access! We’ve also got a new version coming soon that adds support for macOS, Linux and AzureAD joined devices.

  • macOSLAPS

Swift binary that will change a local administrator password to a random generated password. Similar behavior to LAPS for Windows

  • For those with macOS as part of their fleet, there is an option for LAPS as well: https://github.com/joshua-d-miller/macOSLAPS
