I'm not on the golang sub that often so I haven't seen duplicate posts like this. I did a quick search (with Reddit's crappy search) and was unable to find anything. I suspect this was posted here since it's been all over including the poster's GitHub account https://github.com/shteou/go-godash
There will be many of these functions in the standard packages, yes. I'm not sure what the current status of them being directly in 1.18 vs. a proposal of putting them in the /x/ namespace is, but, regardless, yes, the official project is putting out an official version of these functions. Anyone hoping to become the de facto standard "go functional library" is going to need to do something to significantly raise the bar above and beyond merely having a handful of obvious functions.
