Similar to Breez is Phoenix, which uses different technology under the hood but allows you to do similar stuff. Some people prefer Phoenix, I prefer Breez, but they do basically the same.
If you just want a simple to use wallet for lightning, I absolutely recommend you Muun. It's the simplest to use, and you can even receive a few sats for free in an empty wallet. Also it's super minimalistic, and it just works. If you're not sure, just start with this one.
If you want to tinker a bit more, there's Breez, which also allows you to use your own node, and control it from your phone. Ideal if you're starting out and want to learn a bit more. It does have a lot of extra stuff though, so not as simple.
Jack Dorsey always talks about the race to the bottom with bitcoin fees. This is what that looks like. But yes, eventually go non-custodial and run your own Node. Interface with it using something sick like https://zeusln.app/
