I use Emacs with company-mode, irony-mode, and flycheck-mode. It’s fast, lightweight, and customizable; and you can use it as either a GUI or command line application. You can even use GDB with it for debugging. There are some really nice setups that are worth looking into online which turn it into a fully-fledged IDE.
