  • I know it’s a day after your question, but maybe you want to look into https://github.com/purcell/exec-path-from-shell. If the problem was solved when launching from the terminal perhaps Emacs was having trouble finding the required binaries. It happens only in MacOS I think, but that package solves all those problems
