Discontinued [Moved to: https://github.com/SingularisArt/school-notes] (by SingularisArt)

  • Now, hear me out. I know it's not what you want, but it's much better than you think. You can view my notes here. Also, here's how I take notes.

  • syncthing-android

    Wrapper of syncthing for Android.

  • For file syncing, I would recommend checking out Syncthing. It'll sync any folder across your devices and works on Windows, Android and Linux. It's fairly easy to set up but you might want to back up your files from time to time or use it's file versioning just to be safe. This would probably work with any note taking system you decide to use.

  • github-orgmode-tests

This is a test project where you can explore how github interprets Org-mode files

  • For note taking, I personally use org-mode which I've found very powerful. It's essentially markdown with more features, such as date tracking, executable code block, built in export features and more. There is also a package for it called org-roam that is designed to make it easier to form a personal knowledge base with it.

  • Joplin

Joplin - the secure note taking and to-do app with synchronisation capabilities for Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
