  • if you find a way to register the touchpad gestures and then map some actions on them, then that's the way. since a touchpad is basically a ps/2 mouse device, you can't just make it so if you just move your finger across it, the action occurs, as it would render your laptop unusable. since it's a separate device (assuming you also use a mouse), then you might try to find something similar to this, but for mouse (idk if that thing works for mouse events). otherwise you can't do it ig
