I recently bought this game and decided to set up my own server for me and my friends. I love the game so far and the server works fine. But as I recently got really into Python coding and making Discord bots I've had this idea of making a bot that posts the status of my dedicated server. For example "Status: Online", "Players: 4/10" etc. Nothing too fancy just the necessary for my Discord server. Does anyone in here have experience with the Steam API or even more specific setting up API for your Valheim server? I have searched around for a while but can't really seem to figure it out. I've read about Steamworks etc and also found some on Github (loesche/valheim-server-docker) which seems great. But I'd rather do it myself to understand it. Any help is appreciated!
