This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on reddit.com/r/opensource

Our great sponsors
  • Scout APM - Less time debugging, more time building
  • SonarQube - Static code analysis for 29 languages.
  • OPS - Build and Run Open Source Unikernels
  • GitHub repo Remotely

A remote control and remote scripting solution, built with .NET 5, Blazor, SignalR Core, and WebRTC.

  • GitHub repo rustdesk

    Yet another remote desktop software

I recommend RustDesk, if you're looking for basic support. Its also built on Rust, as the name says.

  • Scout APM

Less time debugging, more time building. Scout APM allows you to find and fix performance issues with no hassle. Now with error monitoring and external services monitoring, Scout is a developer's best friend when it comes to application development.

  • GitHub repo jitsi-meet-electron

Jitsi Meet desktop application powered by :electron:

You will need a client. Browsers typically cannot type in other apps. Something that's free, open source, and runs on all platforms is Jitsi Meet. If you install the client, you'll have an option for "Remote control". I personally like that I'm in a call with the other person at the same time.

  • GitHub repo p2p

🖥️ P2P Remote Desktop - Portable, No Configuration or Installation Needed.

You can try this one: https://github.com/miroslavpejic85/p2p No download, installation required… portable 🙂 Regards
