  • Photoshop

  • hmm a package installer that does pretty much everything for you sounds convenient af. i read this article on github about downloading photoshop and apperantly it only supports Fedora, Debian 10 and Arch Linux. im really thinking of switching to probably one of em idk im still looking into it. i did look up pretty much all the apps i use and they are available on linus. if any app is not available there is always girhub and litris to help thankfully. this community is very helpful and supportive. i really wanna be able to use photoshop on linux cause thats smth i use pretty much every day. can you please look into the article and tell me which should i switch to if any?

  • photoshopCClinux

Photoshop CC v19 installer for Gnu/Linux

  • It's very convient! Especially when you write an alias to the commands so they're way easier to remember. I use 'add ' in my terminal to install anything in the Arch Linux package repostitory. I also use a wrapper for the AUR(Arch Linux user repository) which has a ton more packages created by the community and my commands search and install from that as well. I would highly recommend Arch Linux but instead starting off use Manjaro. It's based on Arch Linux but has all the UI pieces you'll need to migrate from Windows. As you get used to Linux you will prefer the terminal just for the speed and simplicity. Photoshop on Linux should be easy. I game on Linux and cut vinyl on it no problem. I fully replaced Windows awhile back. Make sure when using GitHub to check the dates of commits and stars/forks. If it's not very active, there is probably a reason for it.
