acpi_call
A linux kernel module that enables calls to ACPI methods through /proc/acpi/call. [maintainer=@teleshoes /@Mic92] (by nix-community)
Fingerprint reader doesn't work. Mine is a Goodix and there isn't a driver for my model. Some people are reversing the driver with good progress: https://github.com/mpi3d/goodix-fp-dump
There is no connect/disconnect event when the charging cable is disconnected. This leads to the system to think that is always on AC thus not activating power saving features. This seems fixed last month with a new set of patches so don't expect it until 5.16 or until a distro backport the changes. I applied these patches alongside this one (i needed the last one because i am on 5.11) and the problem seems fixed. Of course you will need to compile a custom kernel, a task that isn't approachable for new users.
Battery recalibration doesn't work. You will need to install acpi-call-dkms to solve the problem. Sadly the package is outdated in Ubuntu (probably debian too) so you will need to compile a newer version from here.
