I have some experience in running CrowdSec using docker-compose so hopefully, I'll be able to help you out. My use case was a bit different than yours (and way more simple). But check out my github repo, maybe it can be of use to you. With it I aim to install an openssh-server honeypot.
This file does exist and is a copy of the guide from github. I do have a comment on line 1; but I'm hoping that's not causing any issues
