  • BorgBackup

Deduplicating archiver with compression and authenticated encryption.

  • For backup, I recommend Borg. The tool supports compression, versioning, encryption and deduplication out of the box. Thus, the backup only takes a little longer the first time. After that, it is very fast and does not require much storage space.

  • borgmatic

Simple, configuration-driven backup software for servers and workstations

  • If you want a graphical interface, you can look at Vorta. A script that already covers many use cases would be borgmatic.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
