  Hardened allocator designed for modern systems. It has integration into Android's Bionic libc and can be used externally with musl and glibc as a dynamic library for use on other Linux-based platforms. It will gain more portability / integration over time.

  

There are a lot of misconceptions around the OS - that it's only for the most paranoid and thus lacks things like notifications/app support (not true, see the Sandboxed Play services compatibility layer for example) and performance (hugely overstated, misinfo likely stemming from a misleading video by a YouTube influencer). So all I'd say is, as with all claims you read on reddit or hear on YouTube: take criticisms of GrapheneOS with a grain of salt, and don't forget that you can always ask questions directly to the community or read the project's extremely detailed and clear website and Twitter feed for clarification.
