I had an issue with the pdf viewer one time after an upgrade. Not sure if it’s exactly what you’re facing, but it sounds like it might be. I think I used these instructions to replace apps/files_pdfviewer/js/files_pdfviewer-main.jsAnd it worked perfectly.
