  • lua-language-server

A language server that offers Lua language support - programmed in Lua

  • Nova may have support for LSP, so you could try using emmylua, lua-language-server or lua-lsp along with love-api (I think there's a version of that that uses Lua function stubs that LSP would interpret as completable code).

  • love-api

The whole LÖVE wiki in a Lua table.

  • Python-Nova.novaextension

Python Extension for Panic's Nova editor for macOS

  • Nova does actually support LSP, which I noticed when looking for Python support. This extension uses the python language server. I'll actually take a look at the best route to do implement LSP for Lua. My current method works only for functions that are directly accessed by their full name like `love.graphics.rectangle`, so if you aliased functions it wouldn't work.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
