  • I think the confusion is with the URL's GitHub uses, for example this link https://github.com/Inrixia/Floatplane-Downloader/blob/master/package.json looks like it might be for a raw JSON file, but it's not. I expect this is basically what Linus tried to right-click and save as. If it actually was just a JSON file that would have worked.
