I'm suprised no one has mentioned Outline (https://getoutline.org/) which provides full capability to setup a VPN easily on any major cloud providers with 1-click. It also provides mobile apps to use as well.

Google actually do something about it. Outline may/may not evade GFW, but the point is they don't conform to GFW restriction, and it's developed by Jigsaw, a subsidiary of Alphabet, Google's parent company. Their idea is it's better for people to just run their own VPN server for personal use or for people they trust. The US government fund nthLink to run servers based on Outline and promoted by US-funded RFA.

That's the final product, an RSS reader similar to Fluent Reader but that can run (fetch rss) even with the app closed (by running in the background). Fluent Reader is Open Source but it runs on Electron wich makes the RAM consuption huge, I want to aproach something less resource hungry, what language should I seek?

I doubt I'll have any insights to solve the actual problem you're having, but I and others may have suggestions for waking it less painful to restart your workstation. For example, I have a script I run for to restore my windows for my day job. What are you running your containers on? Could starting all of those up be easily scripted? As for window restoration, I use lwsm. It's not perfect out of the box, I had to add an application definition or two, but now it's what allows me to launch my work windows in just a few moments
