Have you heard of TinyGo? :D
if you know C then learning go is not all that hard. fast compile time, fast development time, easy http client/server programming, lots libraries via go github.com ...... Go has a simple syntax. Rust overly complicated, strict compiler so you don't runtime panic. high learning curve no matter what other languages you know, maybe an expert in scala would feel at home with Rust. Rust has Cargo and rustup which are nice. Syntax is overly complicated. Rust makes me wonder is any better then C++ which it is toted to be safer then C++ but at what cost ?!
