Automatically install your host GTK+ theme as a Flatpak

  • Now, if you have installed some elementary non-currated apps, like for example, Gnome logs you will notice, that those apps don't follow current theme. This happens because those apps use different runtime and elementary themes are not flatpaked globally so the other flatpak apps don't see them. There are two options how to fix this: 1. install current theme as flatpak using pakitheme (for some reason there are apps that still ignore it) 2. copy manually current theme to respective runtime. To find which runtime app is using type flatpak info . Runtime theme location usually is at /var/lib/flatpak/runtime////active/files/share/themes. Copy current theme from /usr/share/themes or can copy also from elementary flatpak runtime.
