  • I like the meta section of the config, because I managed to get a config in org-mode to also be byte-compiled, by the means of a init.el which replaces itself on the first run. In retrospect, I probably don't need a byte-compiled config, but I found the idea of a self-replacing config so interesting at the time of writing, that I still use it, and still like it. I'm generally very happy with having the config in org-mode, as there were pretty few around at the time I made mine, so a lot of tinkering went into making it work, and I learned a lot.
