  • The new Photos app is really bad. there is no option to open them unless I import them into OneDrive. Whether they are from an external drive or an internal drive. Pathetic Microsoft. I have to use file explorer to open my photos and videos. we don't even have a simple Gallary app in windows 11.

  • ELI5: In recent years, new formats like webp and jfif have started popping up. However, if I rename them to gif or jpeg, they still work. How can it be that renaming the extension doesn't ruin the image format? Why do they even exist then?
