Regarding people's attention: if I go to https://monocypher.org/, how do I contribute or report a bug? The closest thing is "Download - github mirror", which lands on the GitHub repo's releases page, with an "Issues" link on top... and I haven't even seen the readme with any notes.
Because there are no clear feedback mechanisms in Github, sometime ago I posted this issue in this "external" tracker: https://github.com/isaacs/github/issues/1935
There is now: https://github.com/github/feedback
