I wonder, if DSA works correctly on all platforms in scenarios where MTU > 1500 is needed and/or encapsulations like Batman. Because both are problematic at least on ramips/mt7621 and RTL8380 for me. Better but still not not right with the current 5.10 testing kernel in master. Probably related to the bug mentioned here: https://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/pull/4493

I was hoping, that 21.02.0 would still include that one.

I'd like to express general caution with upgrading to 21.02 on Linksys WRT-series routers; the Marvell "open-source" firmware isn't truly open source (it has proprietary binary blobs) and development seems to have halted sometime in 2020.

Many users report Wi-Fi connectivity issues[0].
