  • podcaster

Podcast feed generator for existing tagged M4A or MP3 files

  • I've also got a utility to build a podcast feed from MP3 or M4A file metadata, so you can turn a directory of files into a private podcast via any HTTP server. I'm not currently using that, though, I just pay for premium Pocket Casts and dump my files into that.

  • podtools

Simple library for Podcast RSS support and command-line podcast downloader in Go.

  • I also have a command-line capable podcast downloader, which I use in a cron job to download and archive podcasts.

  • audm_scraper

Discontinued Script to download and join Audm.com's back catalogue [UnavailableForLegalReasons - Repository access blocked]

  • Hey OP, this is kind of a niche suggestion but I've created a script/library that scrapes from Audm and the ability to mirror the files onto Backblaze B2, Cloudflare cache, and publish the RSS. I think it's too much to ask for the first half of the capabilities but the ability to turn local files into a podcast feed that's iTunes RSS metadata compliant would be really handy, possibly with a publish option. Currently I've essentially had to commit to serving the files onto Backblaze B2 and Cloudflare which is cheap but for those who might want to have the same access but not the technical abilities to tweak the code itself it might not be so simple.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
