  • Scout APM - Less time debugging, more time building
  • SonarQube - Static code analysis for 29 languages.
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • blackbox_exporter

    Blackbox prober exporter

When I had intermittent problems with Comcast, I ran prometheus with blackbox_exporter (to ping a number of hosts every 10s) and surfboard_exporter (to show signal strength; only applicable to cable modem). Take a traceroute and add all the important routers to the list of hosts to ping. I discovered that the signal strength of one of the channels went down every time there was an issue. I never found out whose side the problem was (Comcast or mine), but when I downgraded to an old cable modem that uses different channels the problem went away.

  • surfboard_exporter

Prometheus exporter for the SB6120 Cable Modem

  • Scout APM

Less time debugging, more time building. Scout APM allows you to find and fix performance issues with no hassle. Now with error monitoring and external services monitoring, Scout is a developer's best friend when it comes to application development.

  • prometheus

The Prometheus monitoring system and time series database.
