That said if you're on a Pi bear in mind the limits of your hardware. I myself would just run openmedia vault. Techno Dad Life has a great series for a beginner. A Pi can do suprisingly a lot, but don't expect it to be a hypervisor or anything like that. But when you want to go that route I suggest Proxmox as the free option.
