The docs you linked aren't static. They get updated. In fact, that specific part of the page was edited 19 days ago to raise that limit from 25 million to 30 million.
Ofcourse I won't convince an ETH dev with a couple of comments but the tooling for BCH is being built to enable the same kind of development explosion. Such as Cashscript https://cashscript.org/ Abstractions can always be built, you won't have to write smart conrtracts in script itself, you just have to think differently about how to approach a UTXO architecture.
