Geyser does work on fabric but most mods dont work for bedrock players, and thats because mods contain their own resource packs which are subjected for java players and geyser can't convert such packs for bedrock players, Also floodgate for fabric has a problem where sometimes it doesnt close while stopping the server and can halt the server where it doesnt closes or restarts leaving only option to kill the server which is not recommended. Just be sure to get airplane-purpur as it's way more performant than purpur. You can get it at https://airplane.gg -> Downloads -> Purpur. I use it for my small 2 GB server with 2 cores and its runs buttery smoother with 6 players and a render distance of 16
