InfluxDB

My current chore workflow is a combination of these. I keep the shared calendar because that's an easy way for the rest of my family to see my chores (and half-heartedly manage their own). But I sync that with a set of org files with org-caldav and manage my tasks with emacs/orgzly.
A more esoteric option is using Org mode to manage tasks. Create tasks in an org file using emacs on your desktop, and manage / check them off with an app like orgzly. This way, you can just a syncing system like syncthing or nextcloud to keep your org files up to date everywhere you need them.
No, not a todo app. "todo.txt" is a very specific open source plain text file standard for time management. It is designed for use on personal servers. Apps that support the file format are designed with server integration at their core.
If you use Android then I recommend https://github.com/iSoron/uhabits. There is no server but it has built-in stats and can export raw data if needed.
